Christmas Stroll in Whitefish

Wrap up in your best holiday attire and spirit and get ready to stroll. Visit the stores, ride a horse-drawn wagon, try a roasted chestnut, enjoy enchanting Christmas sounds, and treat yourself to the delicious food and beautiful crafts the street vendors have to offer. Join in on the second annual caroling competition and merry-go-round parade.

Santa's Torchlight Parade

Santa & his elves arrive on The Big Mountain escorted by a torchlight parade.Gather at the bottom of Ed’s Run, just outside of Ed and Mully’s, to watch the Torchlight Parade descend from the top of Chair 2 for this Montana Christmas Tradition. This holiday event makes for great pictures and something special for the entire family.6pm: Torchlight Parade 6:30pm – 8pm: Santa hands out gifts at Ed & Mully’s Restaurant.

New Years Eve Rockin' Rail Jam & Torchlight Parade at Ski Resort
December 31, 2013

The rail jam is the opener to the New Year’s Eve celebrations, capped off with a great Fireworks Display. Any ‘Jam’ style of event means skiers / riders will be constantly hitting the jumps and rails, so there is no break in the action between riders (shred city), making this style of event great for spectators. The Jam will offer a variety of terrain park features and judges will score the best rider/skier in each category. Located just outside of Ed & Mully’s Restaurant in the village, the venue offers great views of the Torchlight and of the Rail Jam itself. The torchlight parade and fireworks begin as soon as the rail jam portion of the event is over.

Black Curtain Theatre "Shakespeare:Nest Generation"

Fox's early influences–Aretha Franklin, Dixieland, and traditional jazz–emerge in her evocative interpretations of jazz with swing stylings, blues, Latin, and Fox's forte, bebop.

Canyon Reverie-Ancient Spring Glacier Symphony Concert
March 13-16, 2014

Glacier Symphony concert featuring R. Carlos Nakai, cedar flute. This concert features the symphony orchestra in an interesting pairing of musical traditions. The first features contemporary American music of cedar flute as performed by R. Carlos Nakai. The second will be exotic music of three French composers, Satie, Massenet and Debussy.

Telluride Mountain Film Festival

Proceeds go to benefit the Bob Marshall Wilderness Foundation's work to keep trails open in the Bob, and engage youth and adults in experiences that change lives while giving back to wilderness.
