Cayuse is an old cowboy term for a little Indian pony, but our Cayuse is anything but little. This big Percheron cross is convinced he never gets enough to eat. Cayuse, a muscular dapple gray, is notorious for his desperate attempts to consume any and every piece of leafy green foliage. (As anybody who has ever ridden him knows). For his dedication to the job and amicable demeanor Cayuse is being awarded the horse of the month. He is extremely proud of himself but more-so of the carrot cake which he gets all to himself.
