April’s horse, Comanche, is an easy one to spot. The sorrel and white gelding is one of our more colorful horses here at the Bar W. Comanche is a quiet, unassuming sort of fellow. He is always happy to do his job and carry guests safely and comfortably up the mountain. An interesting fact about Comanche is that he shares his name with a very famous horse, the only known survivor of The Battle of the Little Bighorn and the horse of one Captain Myles Keogh of the 7th Calvary. If you are looking for a pleasant, fun gelding to share your vacation with at the Bar W, Comanche is your guy!
